Gary Francis BA
Gary graduated from the University of Alberta with a BA. He entered the financial services industry in 1968 with a focus on life insurance. He co-founded Francis McLachlan Financial Group in 1981. Gary was a founding member of CALU (Conference of Advanced Life Underwriting) and twice qualified for Top of the Table with the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT). He is a Past Honorary President of Advocis. Gary has served as an Executive Committee Member and Trustee of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.
Leslie Macdonald Francis CLU CH.F.C. - Retired
Leslie is a cofounder of Francis McLachlan Financial Group in 1981. She maintains a strong personal commitment to continuing education. Her industry accreditation includes the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) earned in 1982 and the Canadian Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C.) obtained in 1989. Leslie was also awarded the Calgary Life Underwriter of the Year awarded in 1994 for demonstrating personal excellence in and commitment to the financial services industry.

Duncan McLachlan CLU CH.F.C. CFP CEA
Duncan is a co-founder of Francis McLachlan Financial Group in 1981. He holds industry designations as a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (CH.F.C) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Duncan is a Past President of the Calgary Chapter of Advocis and has served on the Alberta Insurance Council.

Wes McLachlan CFP
Wes began his career with Francis McLachlan Financial Group in 2002 after studying business administration at Camosun College in Victoria, B.C. Soon after he attained his Life Insurance and Accident and Sickness licenses, as well as his mutual funds license. Wes received his Certified Financial Planner designation in 2006 and is currently working on his Chartered Life Underwriter designation. Wes spends his time in Group Benefits consultation and personal and corporate risk planning.
